HACP Soap Making Workshop

HACP Soap Making Workshop on 6th June 2010

Deep appreciation to every party’s involved especially our professional soap tutor – Ms. Lim & Queensbay Mall’s management in driving our workshop running smooth sailing. Of course the overwhelming responses from our customers are very encouraging as well.

In fact, our mission in organizing this workshop is to:-

*Introduce the benefits of making their own soap as they have a full control on all materials involved.

*Let everyone got a chance to experience & enjoy the soap making process, & of course a chance for them to share their experience & irons out their doubts towards handcrafted soap.

*Raising awareness on handcrafted soap & how important is it towards our mother earth.

*An excellent option for problematic skin sufferers because of its nature glycerine content.

*Enjoying therapeutic grade essential oils without vaporizing & compromising to other harmful chemicals.

Over here, I would like to draw attention from those whom wanted to make their own soap at home to be extra carefully in handling NAOH / Sodium Hydroxide. When adding in NAOH to water, REMEMBER adding in with slow pace & small portion by small portion, and then stir it with slow pace as well. DON’T add in all in one short, as it will emit some smell that makes your nose uneasy & its temperature will shoot up immediately approx. 70C to 80C (is all depends on the total amount that you have adding in).

Last but not least, only 100% therapeutic grade essential oils will have the satisfying effect towards your mind & skin’s health, and leaves no toxic chemicals behind. Whereas lower grade, pre-blend or refined essential oils, and artificial fragrance brings no benefits at all; moreover it doesn’t assured you it leaves no toxic behind. DON’T think it doesn’t matter you at all, as skin is our largest organ out of all, it do ‘EAT’ what you have feed with.
